In addition to design, Chumin also has a great passion for photography and ceramics.
Her work is fascinated by cultural fashion as a tool for self-expression. She is interested in observing people’s lifestyles and creates pieces that are sensitive to human nature and emotions, leaning towards portraiture and documentary as mediums to tell people’s stories.
Her work has been influenced by various cultures. Her subject matter has also been inspired by living among vibrant youth cultures in North America and East Asia.
